Three Robbed At Gunpoint In Bridgeport, Police Say

Three men were robbed at gunpoint after being duped into giving a woman following a woman to "go for drinks," in Bridgeport, police said.

The incident took place around 4:40 a.m., Monday, June 10, when the victims told officers they were approached by a woman offering to go for drinks, said Rowena White, director of communications for the City of Bridgeport.

The woman got into another vehicle with a man driving and the three men followed them to several locations, she said.

The man driving then got out of his vehicle and went to the victim's vehicle and pointed a gun at them, and took the three men to the backyard of a house on Soundview Avenue.

The man and the woman then proceeded to rob the victim's of all their belongings, she said.

The suspects are described as a short, slim, black male, and a Hispanic female who was short and heavy set. 

They were last seen fleeing the area in a blue Nissan Altima toward Chopsey Hill Road.
